Celebrating Through Baptism This Sunday! Baptism is the outward expression of the inward love and obedience that those new in Christ enjoy. It is the demonstration of being transformed by Jesus in salvation and illustrating the hope of the eternal life that He promises. The Lord is Good! The CP Family has been extremely blessed by the kindness and ministry of Heart of Life Church. HOL has willingly and generously provided skilled and anointed worship leadership during the past few weeks and has committed to continue to do so through July. We are thankful to Jason Riel and the members of the HOL Worship Team. Pastor Jeff Funderburk, of HOL has agreed to minister through the preaching & teaching of the Word through the month of July as well, extending kindness and provision to CP as we enter this transition period. Pray for Jason & Jeff as they minister to the CP Family, and pray for the CP Transition Team as they continue to look to the Lord to guide His people into the future.
Pastor Mike is Available and Ready to Minister. Pastor Mike Dryer has been ordained by the CP Family in the past in recognition of his spiritual gifts and to confirm the unique calling of God upon his life as a Pastor. During the upcoming transition, should you have need of any kind of pastoral ministry, Mike is capable and ready to shepherd according to your need. He can be contacted at 816.805.3977. Stewardship Challenge. By now you have received Pastor’s Bob’s final correspondence expressing his gratitude for serving the CP Family. Bob also reported on the multiple ministries that your financial tithes and offerings have been applied to during the last quarter, each expressing and communicating the love of Christ in His church and throughout our city and beyond. The joy of blessing is the Father’s promise to those who are obedient and faithful stewards of tithes and offerings, (Malachi 3:10) while the message of the Good News is extended and lives are impacted?
